We at Tech4Future‑Liberia are thrilled to announce a major milestone in our educational transformation journey: our partnership with Books for Africa has now formally launched the textbook and technology shipment phase of the STEMBridge Liberia Initiative.

What’s Happening
Thanks to an initial seed gift of US $1,750 (one thousand, seven hundred and fifty United States dollars) from the First Unitarian Society, we have begun fundraising and logistics efforts to deliver over 18,000 high-quality textbooks, ICT learning materials, and computer devices to schools across Liberia. Working with Books for Africa, an organization that has shipped tens of millions of books across Africa since 1988—this shipment will bolster school libraries, equip ICT learning hubs, and catalyze student proficiency in English, mathematics, and digital skills.
Why it Matters
In Liberia, the next generation’s ability to lead and innovate is constrained by limited access to up-to-date textbooks, library infrastructure, and digital learning tools. Our STEMBridge initiative is designed to:
Strengthen English literacy and mathematics proficiency in primary and secondary schools.
Provide IT and digital-skills training and equip students for the global knowledge economy.
Create vibrant school libraries and reading hubs where textbooks and computers fuel learning and creativity.
Together with Books for Africa and our generous supporters, we are transforming access, opportunity, and futures, one book, one device, and one school at a time.
Acknowledging Our Supporters
We extend deep gratitude to the First Unitarian Society for their visionary seed funding, which has empowered us to move swiftly from concept to action. We also thank Books for Africa, whose expertise and global reach in textbook shipping and distribution make our partnership possible.
What’s Next
Finalizing container logistics with Books for Africa: shipment of textbooks and devices is scheduled to begin next quarter.
Identifying and preparing beneficiary schools in Liberia (library-ready rooms, teacher training, distribution plans).
Launching our fundraising campaign and inviting corporate, foundation, and individual partners to support the cause.
Sharing visuals, progress updates, and stories of learners whose lives will change because of your support.
Join Us
We invite all supporters of education, digital opportunity, and Africa’s youth to join the STEMBridge Liberia journey. Your donation, your partnership, or your advocacy will help us deliver not just textbooks, but transformation.
Let’s build Liberia’s technology-empowered future together.
